Providencia stuartii

Standardized multilocus sequence typing methodology for P. stuartii identification and classification

About This MLST Scheme

This page was designed for sequence type (ST) assignment of Providencia stuartii isolates considering whole genome sequencing. In addition, to confirm that the P. stuartii genome belongs to the same species, FastANI (Fast - average nucleotide identity) analysis was included for the correct identification of bacterial species such as: Providencia stuartii, Providencia rettgeri, Providencia alcalifaciens y P. hangzhouensis. Only for the genomes of P. stuartii the sequence type (ST) will be determined.
